Adele is estimated to sell about 150k (#3 Itunes)
Kelly's current radio audience is 46 million
Adele's current radio audience is 125 million
Z100 has put Kelly into power rotation and removed Adele from it. So Kelly will have a 3 million audience advantage because of this
Madonna is debuting her lead single with M.I.A and Nicki Minaj this Friday and is performing on the Superbowl while Kelly is performing the National Anthem.
4 Minutes debuted at #68 with only airplay and jumped to #3 a week after with 217k sold in a whole week. Will Madonna be able to outsell Kelly in just three days ? Since the digital sale tracking is from Monday to Sunday ?
I think Adele will somehow manage to block them. Madonna's new single on iTunes will probably hit #1 by a huge gap for the whole weekend (which is of course a crucial time frame) while will narrow Adele and Kelly's sales. The huge advantage Adele has on radio is what will save her in the end. It'll be very close though.
Don't count Kelly out. Remember when Beyonce sang the national anthem at SB last time, Me Myself and I went from # 5 to #4 and during Whitney's time her hit went # 8 to # 1 mainly of the same reason.
