Wait ya'll have a month dedicated to black people?
There's nothing about it. There was a period of time in the U.S. (Several centuries) when Black people were treated like second class citizens and denied their rights. So of course the great things some Black people have accomplished weren't being taught about to anyone. That is why Woodson created Black History Week in 1926 and that's why it evolved into a month. We were not getting enough shine for all the great things we've done because of our skin color.
Being Latino AND Black is the best of both worlds in everything, and I'm glad the U.S. tries to acknowledge the contributions of both of my people. as they did so much for this country.
(But those nasty collard greens, mac and cheese, yams, and (pig ears ) that we had yesterday in the school cafeteria we're NOT the business. ) I have to know who cooked my soul food when I eat it.

it's true so much is happening. Altho I wouldn't consider ****stars significant in black history month. Pinky and Jada Fire were 2 legendary ****stars #blackhistoryfact lol

I've had like intestines before, but not chitlins. Sometimes I kinda wanna try them, but then I remember how bad they used to make the house smell when someone cleaned them.
