Madonna cuts her daughter out of W.E
Quote:
Madonna has revealed she cast her daughter Lourdes in her film W.E... only for the scenes to end up on the cutting room floor.
The singer, 53, enlisted the help of the 15-year-old at the 'last minute' to play a younger version of Abbie Cornish's character Wally Winthrop.
However, as she edited the film ahead of its debut at the Venice Film Festival last September, Madonna realised she didn't need her daughter's scenes after all.

'Sorry babe': Madonna, pictured last weekend in New York City, cut her daughter Lourdes out of W.E.
Madonna told MTV: 'I just kind of dragged her in at the last minute.
'It was quite unfair of me, what I did and what I asked her to do. But she was really great, and then I ended up cutting her out of the film. Ruthless, I know.
'I said, "Sorry babe, you're on the cutting room floor." She took it like a champ.'
Although Lourdes missed out on her big screen debut, she has appeared in the singer's 2004 documentary I'm Going To Tell You A Secret.
Missed out: Lourdes was cast as a younger version of Abbie Cornish, pictured with Oscar Isaac in a scene from W.E.
She is already set to follow her mother into entertainment after enrolling at New York's famed LaGuardia High School Of Music & Art and Performing Arts two years ago.
Meanwhile, despite mixed reviews of W.E., Madonna is hoping to make another film in the future.
She explained: 'Yes, watch out Visconti!
'No, I'm not a blockbuster kind of a girl, I don't think. But I do love the idea of making a sweeping epic romance.
'And now that I know how to make a film in three different countries, with several different time periods and lots of different accents; I think I'm qualified.'
