I have to say this:
I seriously thought she ruined her voice. At the BRIT Awards she sounded really scratched up. Not at all like her Idol performances. But then I watched What Hurts the Most, what she performed recently. Her voice is clear, and back into shape. I think the touring damaged it up.

FYI:
Breakaway is the only song she's released off of her sophmore album that she did not had a hand in producing/writing. She writes both the lyrics and the melody.
Since U Been Gone-She brought the bridge up an octave, rocked it out, added more guitars, and added a stronger drum beat.
Behind These Hazel Eyes-She wrote the song after her breakup with David Hodges.
Becasue of You-She wrote this at 16 years old.
Walk Away-She helped write this too. (the bridge and hook)

She also wrote Addicted at 16 and helped a lot and wrote on Hear Me. And they are the two best songs on the album.
Who did she borrow from? Ashlee? She's outsold her. Avril? Outsold her debut by a million and easily toppled Under My Skin. Pink? Breakaway is already outselling Pink (even though Pink's album is fantastic).
Was American Idol created to make pop stars? Hell yes. But look at what's happened to Ruben and Fantasia. Carrie Underwood isn't even pop.
Look at the difference between Thankful and Breakaway.
Thankful is way overproduced, not the type of music she wanted to be doing.
Breakaway has her actually singing the backup, going with the rock edge sound she wanted to do. Look at the superior album.
So next time before you post, maybe you should do your homework.

I love the performance at the brits, it was amazing.

OMG...This is like the hundreth time. Addicted is NOT RELEASED. Nor have there been any rumors since after Walk Away that it will be.
I know 1000 times more about Kelly Clarkson than you will ever.
