I decided to create this thread because it pisses me off when I see some ATRL users calling pop girl A or pop girl B "Queen of Radios". That's wrong, that's a lie. Treating new pop artists like legends is just not cool. Because one thing is taste; other completely different thing is the facts. And the facts say Mariah Carey is the Queen of U.S. Radios. You may not like the woman's music, but at least respect her legacy and her hard work in the last 20 years. Don't ignore her achievements and don't pretend she doesn't exist just because she hasn't any album out or hot singles on radio at the moment. She's here to stay for a long time and she won't go anywhere. You got to deal with it, I guess.

Sadly, it's because of posts like this one I can't take ATRL members seriously. It's not over until somebody got more than 12 #1 airplay hits or surpass those 93 weeks at # 1 - which is not gonna happen anytime soon or maybe never. It's not over when a 40 years old woman gets top 10 airplay hits ("Obsessed") - she is STILL a threat for the young girls. The other pop girls stanbases still speak bad about Mariah because of her chart power. She's a threat and I got all the envy around her. Pure and simple.
