Nothing but true tea. The album should've been released a month after Born This Way - the single was released. TEOG should've been the second single after that.

Interesting that some people consider over 2 million CD's sold and five Top 10 singles (with a number one single and cd) a flop. All accomplished in less than a year. There are many, many singers that would give their right arms for those results. Calling it a failure makes no sense.

Too much hype (It wasn't epic! It had fillers! It wasn't the album and voice of our generation!), the single choices and their release dates were not right (No Scheisse! 3 singles before the album came out!), awful cover (She was born a motorcycle!), all that made the era fail. Gaga, you need to listen to your little monsters advice, they could have helped you make the era epic and beat Britney like they desperately wanted

I don't think in March though anyone would have thought Judas wouldn't have done well. The lyrics are risky but the production is pure Top 40 RedOne...

On the other hand, TD was well organised, the singles were catchy, her work was excellant. Almost every song on that album is good, funny or interesting!
