Just because someone doesn't get radio support or the singles don't do well, doesn't mean he/she is becoming irrelevant. If that's the case of becoming irrelevant, than THOUSANDS of artists that are big with no radio support are irrelevant. Try tell that to the indie artists that are big on their own. Come on, music is not only what you see & listen on the mainstream kid. There's underground scene too, that is as big as that ****** scene.
And don't act like Radio & it's ****** TOP40 are still relevant.

And I've noticed that. I remember Googling R.E.M. and was shocked at how long their career lasted.

Again, for pop stars, it's all about how you handle the media & how acceptable is the quality of the music they made.
lol. I've known R.E.M for a good 13 years now, my dad's a fan of them. So when the news about their disbandment broke, imagine the meltdown me & dad were having. lol.

Ah, I see then.
 I would too, if my favorite band broke up after 13 years now.

"Last Kiss", "Dear John" and "Never Grow Up" are like the most saddest songs on the album.
So touching.
I never thought we'd have a last kiss, Never imagined we'd end like this, Your name, forever the name on my lips
I still wished Taylor pulled a Beyonce and made a music video for every song and released on a DVD. Just imagine the visuals and everything.

Uh, my dad has been a fan of them way longer than me. Around the '80s. Such a pleasure watching him all sad for a week because of R.E.M

TSOU is really a good song. What i just hate about is is the fact that they're trying to recreate a YBWM 2.0 out of it and therefore, Tay's growth on the public's eyes was not shown. I mean, seriously, they're releasing that generic song that doesn't show her musical growth over epic, grand productions in Haunted or BTR or Enchanted? SERIOUSLY?

Still irrelevant I see.
Tee-hee
I have these colour themes pictured in my mind for some of the songs, for example:
Dark green = Haunted
Red= BTR
Blue=DJ & LS
Peach = Enchanted
etc
Though this probably comes from watching the concert. >>

So irrelevant.
So iTunes considers S&S pop, but Billboard considers it country?

Taylor Swift: McCartney's My Idol
Taylor Swift is deeply inspired by Sir Paul McCartney's music.
The 22-year-old songstress has been a big fan of the Beatles musician all her life.
Taylor is in awe of what Paul has achieved during his career.
'His music makes me feel there's more good in the world than we think, and maybe love can really exist in a pure form,' Taylor told People magazine. 'And isn't that what we want to feel when we listen to music? To see Paul doing what he's doing at 69 is so inspiring. He's out there continuing to make his fans so happy. Any musician could only dream of a legacy like that.'
Taylor went on to reveal that Paul has been a huge influence on her own work.
The singer-songwriter spent her childhood listening to his impressive back catalogue of hits.
'I discovered his music on my own as a child, then bought all of the Beatles and Paul McCartney tapes and CDs I could find,' Taylor shared. 'Paul writes about his life and the things he's learned about love in such a brilliantly simple way. I feel as if I've been let into his heart and his mind.'
Taylor was thrilled when she got the opportunity to meet her idol. She says the legend was nicer in person than she could have dreamed.
'When I met him backstage at his 2010 concert in Nashville, I remember being excited that he was such a kind person,' she recalled. 'Seeing him sing Blackbird live will always be a moment I won't forget.'

I cannot even explain how pressed I am right now.
I was looking forward to this so much; Taylor- related things are one of my few sources of genuine happiness.
And of course my twitter timeline is celebrating that Taylor won't "ruin" the movie now...

I'm beyond happy. I have nothing against Swift, she's a sweet and talented girl, but she was just beyond miscast for Eponine.
It would not have gone over well at all.

At one side, I was a little bit sad that it won't happen, just a little.
On other side, I'm REALLY happy, cause it means more time & 100% focus on 4th album.
Edit:
With me def won't see this movie, it will mark a year for me haven't seen any single movie. And the money will go to another vinyl record. Such a perfect life.
