I am surprised how this thread went unnoticed. There was so much fuss around SOPA, ATRL even had a banner for a day. Unfortunately ACTA is way more dangerous than SOPA and it's already signed by most of the European countries and the USA. ACTA could mean the end of the internet (and the world in that matter) as we know it and you all act indifferent.
Lmao, the video is a load of chicken little fear-mongering ********. It actually says at the beginning it "may not reflect recent changes within the ACTA text" and then it goes for the most ludicrous, extreme assumption of how the law will be put into place (The cookery lesson analogy ) I'll wait to hear it explained from sources I trust before panicking.
Nah, i doubt ACTA to be an Official Law. In those times of election, at least in USA... this won't happen. They're not stupid. They know that everyone that is not against ACTA will be punished with hate. USA is not that stupid. Anyways... signed.
