What's so wrong with that? I mean some people like her consistency, and when you buy a Mariah album you know exactly what you're getting. I mean I'm not one of those people that likes that per say, but a lot of her fans do I guess.....

Mariah's albums don't sound the ****ing same, let's not. Her and Madonna make different genres of music any way so I wouldn't even compare the two musically but to say Mariah HASN'T shown growth since her debut is ********, that or you aren't familiar with her music. Nor is she predictable.

Mariah has been so stagnant since TEOM. Same look and no musical growth since 2005. In fact, she's gotten worse.

But Madonna has too. COADF-->HC was not a step forward. The difference is that Madonna has a much better chance of coming back from it.

Did you even read my last sentence? I really, really hate that my fave can't seem to think outside the box and experiment just once anymore, and just go for something new and innovative to set the trend. I hate it. But I accept it for what it is. There are a lot of people who just love to hear hear her singing, and are satisfied by the status quo with the "Mariah Carey" sound. And I don't blame that at all. People love something they can rely on.

Here for Mariah! I really wanna know what she gonna do next, because she knows she has to work a lot this time. Let the slay begin!

I'm excited for Mariah, but she hasn't really done anything captivating since TEOM. It's been the same, and while I enjoyed the last studio album a lot, I know I can only expect more of that. Soft vocals, 2000s pop&b beats, nice lyrics about love, a Gospel song as the last track, etc.

While Madonna I'm excited to see what this album is going to sound like, production, lyrically and just overall.
