I have a NY accent, I've lived in NY most of my life, but then moved down to N.C. But like B.R.I.A.N. said, I don't talk like I don't know what the letter "r" is. People like that get on my nerves.

I don't know exactly what kind of accent I have, but I have a tendency to say words beginning with the letters TR and DR differently. For example I would usually pronounce the word truth like "tshrooth" or "chrooth" and the word drop like "dzhrahp" or "jrahp." What is comes down to is adding a SH or a ZH sound after the T or D when those letters are followed by an R.

I'd say my accent is the same as what people speak in northern Ohio and central Michigan.

It's called a non-regional dialect. I purposely learned to speak without any kind of accent.

I suppose it's an American accent if anything - but then again isn't that a given?

i have a dublin accent. but i lived in reading in england for two years so maybe its a little muddled.

People who meet me from other states and know I live in NJ are surprised to find I don't have a New Yawk accent although supposedly I say "water" and "yeah" weird

I don't have . I can talk in american accent / british. But as for the middle east region ,people always keep guessing that I'm from another country. I also have a Mariah carey skin ,so you can't guess If I'm black or white.

I mean I believe that points to NO ACCENT, IDN I bet English/Austrailian people would say its an American Accent or something. But I don't have one?
