#4: See, the problem with that is that leaving it as it is only ENCOURAGES more clone countdowns. Actually, creating a sub-forum would do the exact same thing. *shrugs*

The last one is the one that has me scratching my head. Firstly, even though I called it "bland, unoriginal, boring" and a "piece of crap", I never said outright that I "hated" it. There are worse countdowns. And continuing on, "and if it's a clone of anothers, it's not your business"....um, how does this make sense at all? Of course it is my business! It is the business of everyone on this forum. It's not like you can just say, "Oh, well, if it's a clone, whatever, it's none of your business what I do". ********. You and countless others have taken the idea of the request-only countdown and have made it completely bland and boring by stealing other people's ideas(graphics and icons and vid caps and the TRL voting list, etc.) and using them for your own personal gain. Even if you try to push it off by saying that it is "not my business", it still doesn't change that.

I don't care if my countdown gets 2-3 requests a week. At least at the end of the day, I know that my countdown reflects MY taste and I know that my countdown is not boring or bland. I wish I could say the same for you. But ah well, c'est la vie.

WOW, I would die without virtual popularity, come on, get a life, we only come here to have fun not to read people saying crap about us because we have diferent a opinion. You're old here, ok, I respect that, BUT I never saw you here, I vote for a lot of countdowns when I can and I never saw you here, maybe because you only enter the personal threads, I don't know, this is why I like the ideia of split this section in 2.

Well, first off, before I actually get to my point, yes, you CAN say anything that comes to your head because, as you pointed out, it is "just the internet" and it is really just an internet messageboard, though I already admitted that I do think I was a bit too harsh to Vithor. Read on later about that. I added the "and using them for your own personal gain" line because it just sounded cool, i'll admit. And, for your information, your first comments don't really hurt me because I DON'T have a life and i'll admit that ten times out of ten.

Anyway, time to get serious..you joined this forum in July of 2004. But that time, I had stopped doing countdowns regularly and was mostly voting on personal countdowns because, at that point, they were still the majority. Cut to two years later and the entire landscape has changed. Yeah, I only do vote on personal countdowns, but that's because they are the only countdowns that truly interest me anymore, as I see the others generally having no life to them whatsoever.

I can tell you right now that I overreact more than just about anyone on this forum. Hell, I was once called a drama queen. And, originally, I was trying to be respectful and trying to say that I really don't like what the YTT forum has become. But Vithor touched a nerve. For the most part, I HATE being told what to do. I know he didn't generally say it towards me, but I know he was talking about me at least partly. The YTT forum has been ATRL for me for the last three years. I just hate to see what it has become. There is a reason that this forum is named the Your Top Ten forum. Request-only countdowns are the exact opposite of what the YTT forum is all about.

I'm not saying to get rid of the request-only countdowns altogether, but I am proposing a cutdown on them, though not necessarily yours. I just think there's way too many countdowns that are the exact same.

And, honestly, I HATE this freakin' argument and I hate that i'm continuing it because I have made my point countless times and I really don't want to have to make it again. I know, I know, then why did you continue it? Remember, i'm not the king of overreacting for nothing.

My countdown... yup... my vote is quite a portion of the countdown. I vote after everybody else votes-for every video based on how I like it. So would mine sort of kind of count as a personal countdown- because some of it is?

I think with what you're trying to say DNR is that if at all a certain portion of your countdown is a personal one, then that's good to go. I prefer the personal ones more than the request ones because sometimes you'd go with what you like instead of popular vote. That's why I haven't been requesting lately on many c/ds because I honestly got bored of requesting on like 20-25 c/ds. (this of course was back in the past)

Ok, i'm so tired of the ranting and the arguments. You know what, that's it. If you can't agree and make YTT forum a better place, then beat it. I want you guys to name the countdowns of who copying who, with reasons. Seriously, there are just way too many of the same EXACT type of countdowns. Same voters, same voting lists, same graphics, same ****. It's so embarrassing, shameful, redundant. ****. People, use some brains, there are other original countdowns that should be at the top of the page, because they deserve to be viewed first. People who have their own original countdowns have to stop doing their countdowns because of this ******** that's always at the top of the first page, pushing their "originality" down to saint nowhere.

Before you throw a fit, be easy, I'm not talking about all of the countdowns, but I have to do something with some of these unoriginal countdowns that all LOOK and ARE exactly the same. If you don't like this idea, I suggest you go make these copy-cat countdowns somewhere else. "YOUR" Top Ten forum will not tolerate this ******** anymore. The majority of people here who think that these unoriginal countdowns should be stopped, will be queued in the process of locking up. Since in the end, these unoriginal countdowns DESERVE to be LOCKED anyway. End of story.

Japoy's countdown should be definately deleted for the reasons that Arith and Shade posted above. Also all countdowns Arith mentioned should be deleted too, and there are many others that just copy my countdown or yours NG, but I'm too lazy to type them all
