Agrees. Kely isn't offering any constructive critisim at all all she is doing is attacking the suggestions from people who don't support the Request Only countdownbs.

I'm sorta for/against the bigmassive request only countdown only because I wouldn't want to host i; maybe we could use Surveymonkey for votes? Sadly; I'm willing to get rid of my countdown (which ain't even really a clone compared to others) it we're gonna be fair.

It generally annoys me a HELL of a lot more when people just take the TRL voting list.

But if the countdowns look the same, then they look the same, TRL voting list or slightly different voting list.

well i have a few trl songs but mostly all the songs on my list are my favorite songs so am i not counted in this problem?

Well, if they're your favorite songs, then they're your favorite songs. I obviously can't change that, heh.

But your countdown, barring a few differences, looks like most of the other countdowns. Mostly because of the voters more than anything else.

i only added a few trl ones cause they were requests.. and i really don't want to lose my countdown..

I agree 100%. If it bothers you just ignore, this is why I agree with the ideia of creating a Request Only thread.

The only thing that makes me come here and post is my countdown, I don't want to lose it because I'll eventualy stop coming here to ATRL.

I don't really use the YYT forum, so I don't really have a say in it. I like the thought of the one request thing, or what we could do is Reserve a Top Ten and send in what the voting list is going to be, and if it's too Trl alike then don't let that person start it. I don't really know what can be done. Otherwise just have a person reserve and only have a certain amount of people have a top ten open, but some go on and on forever so then people wouldn't be able to come in and start one, unless their is a day limit of how long your c/d can go on for. How I see it, just leave it alone. It's one of the most viewed and posted forum of ATRL and getting rid of it will make people like Sama leave ATRL and some viewers also...

The whole idea of "requests" or "votes" in that forum has always been stupid.. just post what you like or dislike about the countdown, don't just list a bunch of artists/songs cause that is basically spamming.

Hmm, well I just found this and I just recently restarted my countdown, and it's not exactly original, but it's music that I like right now, and some of it may happen to be on TRL. (I don't even watch that by the way) But, I do think there is a difference between something I do, or maybe Randy, or Mike because it doesn't exactly run on votes, as in comparison to those who have voting lists, and appear to be TRL clones. Sometimes you can browse others countdowns fro new music (like I do Nick's) or just see what are some of your friends favorite songs, I really don't want to see you rearrange TRL or copy others. Everyone should be limited to 1 countdown, and I'd like to see the big ATRL countdown brought back. The rest of the countdowns could probably be deleted.
