Honestly, i'd like to use this thread as an opportunity to CHALLENGE those with only request-only countdowns to make a personal countdown and show off their own personal taste as opposed to just taking the TRL voting list and having other people voting for songs.

You don't have to, i'd understand if you didn't. But i'd think of you as truly unoriginal(and maybe even a gutless worm) if you decline. So please, consider this challenge.

It's more about the request-only countdowns being the same than those countdowns being request-only countdowns.

I never had problems with them before, but there's just too many of them now...and almost all of them are the same. It sickens me.

I'm sorry, but this YTT forum is originally based on the idea of your own original countdowns. I have no problems with any of the countdowns, but still where is the main part of this YTT forum ATRL use to have?

And just for the record, if the mods are really tough and unreasonable (like the other forums). They wouldn't have to listen to any of the rants, they could just do what they think is best and banned people right on the spot. It's THAT simple, my friend.

I've been coming to the YTT forum for over four years. I have seen more good countdowns and more bad countdowns than you could ever dream of. I was here when Jase's countdown was still relatively new. I remember having a countdown back in October of 2001! And you mean to ****ing tell me that, if I don't like it, I should just "stop coming here" and "ignore the YTT place"? Boy, unlike some of the people here, the YTT forum is my home. It's my haven. It's the only place on this godforsaken forum where I can find something truly different and original. I love this forum and I will defend it until the day I die and I have more than enough of a reason to tell you that you have no right to tell me what to do when it comes to this forum. You have no right at ALL to tell me to leave this forum when I have done more for it than you EVER will, especially when you run such a boring, bland and unoriginal piece of crap clone countdown that would have gotten maybe one or two votes when there were actually sensible people voting in the YTT forum.

Next time, hold your thoughts and tell that to somebody with whom it might have a little bit of merit.

^hmm...Ryan, while you always make a good point, and we have discussed this before, that statement was a bit harsh to Vitor. In all honesty, if the forum is left alone, those who don't like it, should ignore it, simple as that. As for deleting the "clones," many more people will be angered. The sub-forum seems to be the only other choice that can please everybody. Yes, I do see that a lot of the countdowns are simliar, but each are created by a seperate individual. Oh, and as for the personal countdowns, although they are sometimes very interesting, they are probably they least viewed ones in the whole Top 10 forum. Either way, I hope this is resolved soon, as I don't think it should be that big of a deal. -wishful thinking-

Maybe I am being a bit harsh. But you have to realize that I have been at this forum basically since its inception. I have seen everything there is to see and worship this forum like no other. So for someone to tell me to stop viewing the forum that has brought me back to ATRL over and over again...that's like slapping me in the ****ing face.

I understand Ryan, but I don't quite think he meant it in that exact way. Calm down, we will resolve this.
