Australian gay marriage commercial headed to the US
You've probably seen the "It's Time" ad for Australian Marriage Equality online -- but soon you may see it again on television. Daniel Wein, a college student in Washington DC, has organized a team to acquire the rights and raise funds for a stateside airing of the 2-minute video that never fails to make everyone cry. [s]
The ad has been posted here before, but for the people who hasn't seen it:

So what do you guys think about the ad? Will it make an impact with the American audience?
not sure about the airtime, but it has already impacted americans... along with people from all over the world who saw it online. i'm not sure where it would fit on tv as a commercial unless they played it on logo... which wouldn't do much good because people watching gay tv generally already support gay marriage.

They could always stick it on MTV and VH1. It'll get to lots of young ones. If Oprah was still on, ABC could've played it during commercial breaks.
