Michael Jackson was planning to move to the UK and was working on a new album, according to reports in the British media.
The 47-year-old pop star was in the UK looking at property after a self-imposed exile in Bahrain.

"I love it here, "I'm looking for a place to live, I've always liked the UK and I just love the fans here," Jackson told the UK's Daily Mirror

He told the newspaper he planned to view properties in Scotland and Ireland in a bid to re-create the funfair-style Neverland ranch which he has since sold.

If Jackson does release a new album it would be his first since Invincible in 2001.

Jackson was acquitted of 10 counts of child molestation last year.

He might as well forget about that single cuz nobody is even talkin about Katrina no more. I hope he can comeback strong next year...he should go back to his style and just bring to this generation. He doesn't need to fit in with her music.

Michael's last album Invincible did not flop. It might not have been his biggest hit but comparatively speaking to what else was out there, it did just fine.

It was a #1 album on the Billboard 200 and spent four weeks at #1 on the Billboard R&B/Hip-Hop Album Chart.

It sold over 2 million in the USA and yielded two Top 10 singles: "You Rock My World" and "Butterflies".

"Butterflies" even went to #1 Urban/Urban AC hit *without* a video.

If more singles were released and more videos produced, there's no doubt the album would have left more of an impression.

Anyways, onwards and upwards...I'm sure his next album (which is being released on his own label to be distributed by a major) will be an event. Never underestimate this man's creative talent and determination.

I hope it's like his older stuff even if I found the latest stuff really catchy. I can't wait to check it out if this is true.

Hello! Guys respect Michael! He paved the way for a lot of the artists that you like now! & I hope his new album is successful because he needs the money. Not to mention he's one of the most talented artists ever!

he'll flop regardless. Micheal has lost millions of fans and respect. And I doubt this guy even has the physical strength to be able to even record and promote a new album. Seriously, have you seen him around and about lately? The guy can barely walk. He's like crippled!!! He'll flop. He, like Whitney Houston, was great back then. But now... not so much
