It was a great speech. I'm glad he mentioned the 2% with such ease. Also, I enjoyed his humor and the fact that he mentioned being gay or straight doesnt matter. I agreed with most of it, though I thought it was a little too much, but I understand he wants that second term. Though I know we wont achieve even half of what he proposed, Obama is growing on me, and I think he is becoming a stronger President.

I watched the SOTU and I'm not even American! Agreed with almost everything he was saying. I also watched the Tampa Republican debate.... What a mess, I wouldn't vote for any one of them.

I can't with Obama. noone irritates me as much as him. I don't agree with him about the whole 2percent thing. Why should people who worked so hard to make the money they have, have to give it up. I think making that much money is something to strive for. It's a reason to go to many , many years of school. Also as of now you can't drop out of school till 17... so making it 18 won't make that much of a difference. Though I do agree dropping out is a horrible thing to do and it should be prevented.

Everyone should have the same tax rate, that's all he is saying in a gist.

If they did we wouldn't have had that deficit problem last year.
