Armie Hammer was arrested November 30 in Sierra Blanca, Texas, after a drug sniffing dog found marijuana in his car, the Associated Press reports.
The 25-year-old J. Edgar actor had “0.02 ounces of marijuana, three medicinal marijuana cookies and one brownie” when he was arrested at a border patrol checkpoint.
Armie spent a day in jail before paying a $1,000 bond.
His lawyer said no charges have been presented from the county attorney. El Paso’s district attorney declined to prosecute since a felony requires more than 4 ounces of actual marijuana.
