Rihanna's labeled as R&B because that's how she started out. With The Fame, Gaga was labeled as Dance; but its clear that Born This Way isn't a Dance album, but it's still charting on the Dance/Electronica album section on Billboard.
That doesn't really explain it, tho. Santigold was always an alternative artist yet music vendors label her music as r&b.
how can i troll in my fave's thread ...? if you read my previous post, you would see that i was just giving suggestions to R&B and wasn't expecting to be right, which i wasn't.
i don't get why people are making such a big deal out of literally nothing.
