Celeb News: Mariah Carey to replace Nicole on X Factor?

Rumor has it Mariah is to replace Nicole Scherzinger on X-Factor next season. I think it would be a ratings goldmine with Mariah.

It looks like the awesome Mariah Carey heard Nicole may leave as a judge and she told Simon she would be willing to take her place!

“Mariah dragged her feet for a while about appearing on the show, but now she’s ready for her grand entrance. She wants to be a judge and she is in secret talks with Simon Cowell. The two are good friends and she promised to help pull in monster ratings this coming season”.

I'm not sure if she is the best choice but she sure has the experience and knowledge to do this. I just know she'd bring entertainment.

Wasn't Mariah rumored to be on the show the entire season? I didn't watch, but did she ever? If not, then this is just the beginning of a bunch of rumors branched off the negative criticism of the show.
