(the "teaser" OC preview, Marissa taking that job with her dad, Kaitlyn coming back for good)
This sucked to see. Mischa Barton's character has always been one of the most enjoyable characters on the show. Plus, she was really hot as Marissa Cooper the teenage delinquent.
But anyway... it seems like the main focus of Season 4 is going to be:
- Tie up loose ends with Marissa's death
- Affirm Kaitlyn's status as new queen bitch of Harbor
- Taylor becomes one of the main characters
- Do the rest of them go to college?
- Insert some random Sandy/Kirsten subplot (Jimmy comes back?)
My prediction: Seasons 1-3 as the ones to remember.
Season 4 -> the one that kills the show.
It's been good while it lasted.

I so agree with you about everything. I hated Marissa because she was too idiot and boring this season, but I always thought the series couldn't go on well without her - same for Mischa Barton if she thinks she's going anywhere without The O.C..
I loved the episode, it was great to watch, but Marissa's death definitely kills the show. I was denying, disagreeing with everyone saying these last months that The O.C. was going to a bad direction and should be ended now, before it bombs in the 4th season, but unfortunately now I agree.

Anywayz, that doesn't mean I'm not gonna watch The O.C. anymore, but I can't say I have many hopes.
