Wow that's a pretty half-ass attitude. She needs to make up her mind whether she wants to stay indie or become mainstream so she can stop wasting Interscope's time and money.
Lana is clearly human. She isnt a contrived rehearsed person who always has the 'perfect' answer. Does that mean she isnt ready for the big times? Clearly, since people on here alone are all pressed about what shes saying.
Lana is serving the realness, and thats why I like her.
SHE HAS NO PASSION.... If you do NOT want to sing, please don't! You should enjoy what you do, especially when it comes to singing cause otherwise it will show in your work. Plus her not enjoying singing is a big slap in the face for who ever sings for a living!
Things are cool. They always will be, whether the music goes good or not. Like, I consider being able to sing a luxury, it doesn't run my life, is not my main focus.
How are we supposed to decipher this subliminal message?
Watch this and will see if she hasn't passion for music...
I was just listening to Nirvana. And I see how her attitude is influenced by them, but this interview is not what I need to see what's she's about. I need to see a completely improvised interview to see her real thoughts and not just rehearsed answers with help from her PR.
I mean I would understand if she played an instrument really good. I mean that's how Nirvana was, Kurt didn't care about vocals but because he played the guitar like a real Rock artist should and had great stage presence. Lana on the other hand doesn't play an instrument; she relies on her voice and singing and if you don't care about that then what are you doing trying to become mainstream?
Seems like she's not grateful at all.
