yep yep yep, Ich Troje & Kasia were in a draw and the polish jury choose Ich Troje, annoying but anyway, so I choose Russia to win the contest, Alsou and t.A.T.u. couldn't win it finishing in 2nd and 3rd place

EDIT after checking - As far as I know the shows haven't been on terrestrial tv which is way out of order if there's only going to be 10 contestants tomorrow (I heard on that advert that the semis were on digital tv and hence thought it couldn't be the proper show ). I know I can download the songs and performances but still, I prefer just sitting back and watching in one show on tv *folds arms*

mmm no, the semifinal is to choose 10 countries that are going to be in the final, they do the semifinal because there are more than 30 countries participating, if all the songs participate in 1 final, it would be too long to see it. The semifinal started in 2004, tomorrow 24 countries are going to participate in Eurovision (the 10 that qualified yesterday, 10 of the direct pass because their place in the last year and the "Big Four" in other words UK, France, Spain & Germany)
