Since they're in The Lorax together, we should probably expect more tabloid speculation about them in the future; same way it was with Lautner. The media is absolutely revolting. I hate how they act like every second of her life she's just dating a guy to write a song about him and then dump him and write another song about him and then get another boyfriend and repeat.

Interestingly, I seem to recall an article about Taylor + Jake going apple picking when they were together.


On another note, a lot of people seem to love the Vogue article and how it shows Taylor as a very "level-headed" person

I'm not even going to dignify them with another response; it'd be pointless and it's nothing worth getting worked up about.

It irks me that they're allowed to say some of the things they're saying without getting warnings though; if we were to essentially call some other pop star a ***** or say that they only date guys for the publicity, I'm pretty sure we'd get reported... We need a Swifite on the moderating team.

What the people in the other thread fail to realize is that the situation regarding Jake is nearly identical to the situation regarding Lautner prior to Speak Now's release. The media went on a shitstorm about how the whole album was about him and he was the love of her life and ****, and then there was 1 ****ing song about him. I truly believe Jake will get 1 or 2 songs because Taylor will put them on there because people expect her to; the same thing she did with Kanye in Innocent.

When she's putting together her tracklists, I'm sure the last thing on her mind is "Do I have 1 song about every celebrity I've dated?" She would be far more focused on making sure she chose the right songs for the concepts and themes of the album.

And don't get me started on the Taylor vs. Adele double standards so many people seem to have.
