Cheryl Cole
Cheryl Cole has spent the past few months putting the finishing touches to her third studio album. The 'Promise This' singer is set to follow up '3 Words' and 'Messy Little Raindrops' with a brand new release later this year after working with an array of different collaborators
Dappy
Dappy finally went solo in 2011 with the release of his Vodafone Big Top 40 number one single 'No Regrets'. The N-Dubz rapper is still finishing off tracks for his debut album but has promised fans the record will be out by the summer following the release of his Brian May collaboration 'Rockstar'.
Emeli Sande
2012 is shaping up to be a spectacular year for Scottish singer-songwriter Emeli with the release of her debut solo album 'Our Version Of Events', as well as being named the BRIT Awards Critics Choice recipient of the year. The singer scored her first Big Top 40 number one single in September 2011 featuring on Professor Green’s ‘Read All Bout It’ and has already released two successful solo singles in ‘Daddy’ and ‘Heaven’.
Tinie Tempah
Tinie's promised to release the follow-up to his 2010 debut album 'Disc-Overy' sometime over the next year. Since featuring on Labrinth's monster hit 'Earthquake' in late 2011, Tinie has also confirmed he has decided on a title for his sophomore release only fuelling fan anticipation for another album from the 'Pass Out' rapper.
Nicki Minaj
Nicki Minaj's Barbz won't have to wait long for another release from the 'Super Bass' rapper as her second studio album 'Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded' will reach stores on Valentines Day 2012. Nicki's already been teasing her fans by releasing two preview tracks with 'Roman In Moscow' and 'Stupid Hoe' both wetting people's appetites for some fresh music from the 'Turn Me On' star.
Justin Bieber
After a festive outing for his second release Justin is ready to return to the pop airwaves this year with his third studio album 'Believe'. The 'Baby' singer has already confirmed that both Kanye West and 'Take Care' rapper Drake will feature on the record.
Labrinth
After teasing fans in September with his huge hit 'Earthquake' Labrinth's first solo album will finally be released in March. 'Electronic Earth' will also feature the rapper's 2010 debut single 'Let The Sun Shine'.
Ke$ha
Ke$ha has vowed to "resurrect rock 'n' roll" on the follow-up to her 2010 debut album 'Animal'. After releasing an extended edition called 'Cannibal' earlier this year the 'Tik Tok' singer is getting ready to head back into the studio with producer Dr. Luke ready to record her second album.
Jessie J
With Jessie already teasing plans to reunite with James Morrison on another collaboration, as well as confirming she will head out on tour again in 2012, it seems safe to assume the ‘Who You Are’ singer is planning to release some more new music over the next twelve months. While she has yet to head back into the recording studio Jessie has already promised her next record will be much darker then her 2011 debut.
Dizzie Rascal
After taking the majority of 2011 off the 'Dance Wiv Me' rapper is gearing up for a return to the charts in 2012 with the expected release of his fifth album. Dizzee has already put out several new tracks through his free mix tape 'Dirtee Stank' in an effort to get fans excited about his return.
Calvin Harris
Despite releasing two monster singles in 'Bounce' and 'Feel So Close' over 2011 the Scottish DJ has yet to announce even the title for his third studio album, which is expected to hit stores some point this year. Calvin scored possibly the biggest hit of the past year when he produced and featured on Rihanna's Vodafone Big Top 40 number one single 'We Found Love'.
Cover Drive
Cover Drive made their debut in 2011 with the release of first single 'Lick Ya Down' and will soon follow up with 'Twilight' later this month'. The four-piece band will then release their hotly anticipated debut album 'Bajan Style' at some point over the coming year.
Taio Cruz
The 'Dynamite' singer is back with the follow-up to 2009's 'Rockstarr' and is set to release 'TY.O' in early 2012. Taio kicked off the new year with the release of the album's lead single 'Troublemaker' and his Flo Rida collaboration 'Hangover' is expected to follow in March.
Lady GaGa
Despite the Mother Monster's second album 'Born This Way' only being out for eight months Lady Gaga is already planning to launch her third release over the next twelve months. The 'Marry The Night' singer says she has "a million" ideas for her next record and is also planning to embark on a record-breaking world tour.
Chris Brown
Chris Brown is set to release his new album 'Fortune' in March. The follow-up to 2011's 'F.A.M.E' features the lead single 'Strip' featuring Kevin McCall and marks Chris's fifth studio effort since he released his self-titled debut album in 2005.
