Looks accurate, obviously, as it's based on statistics.

Rihanna will go Top 10 on this list soon. She isn't that far off from Whitney in terms of Top 10s and overall charting songs.

Legends and icons.

Hot 100 success counts for more on these types of lists as you can see by Madonna, Janet and Mariah's placements. I am sure Micheal has outsold all of them in the US yet the others are above him.

it's factual and actual (like TLC said) The list is based on chart statistics, not album sales.

Yeah, this won't be changing anytime soon considering no one in the last three years has had the total amount of chart success these artists accumulated over the 50 year time period included on this survey, plus the fact that no one in the top 10 is still charting that well now. Though I can definitely see Rihanna making the top 20 five to ten years from now.
