Do you ever accidentally use smilie codes in texts?
Or on other Facebook, other forums, IMs, etc.
I recently have been sending my friends : deadbanana : and :eli : a lot without even noticing it... It's gotten to the point where my close friends already understand and don't even question it anymore.
Only :deadbanana :. At this point, I don't even care. When they ask what it is, I just google image it and link them. I've used :toofunny : on accident, but no one really noticed.
I've been tempted to use :foxaylove : before, but that's going way to far.
Out of habit, it slips out sometimes.
Like, I'll be writing a blog on tumblr and I'll absentmindedly write : dies : or : duca : if I'm really excited for something.
It usually takes me a moment to realize that such smiley's will not show up. I always delete them before I post it, though.
i started doing it recently.. even though none of my real life friends or facebook friends use ATRL.. i still use them without a care if they don't understand. i use:
deadbanana
toofunny
i wanna use duca as well.. but it just makes no sense whatsoever
