"Tonight Tonight" Days: 100 Peak: 1(5)
Despite spending only five days at #1, Hot Chelle Rae’s final entry in the countdown made it to the fourth spot. This is the song that elevated the band’s status in the music charts, peaking as high as #7 in the Billboard Hot 100. A song that is still a part of my playlist because of the positive vibe it gives. Very helpful in my case when reviewing for exams and doing paper works. Glad that finally they have a double platinum certification under their belt, thanks to this very catchy track! Anxiously waiting for their third single announcement (Keep You With Me or Honestly please?)

" Moves Like Jagger " Days: 100 Peak: 1(19)
Despite receiving two awards (Favorite Collaboration and Favorite Pop Song) already, Moves Like Jagger which spent 19 days at #1 only settles for third place in my list this year. These two judges/ mentors of the The Voice did have one of the most successful singles this year in the Billboard Hot 100. Some may consider this as overrated, but we cannot deny the fact how this song perfectly defines what a POP song is. Hopefully, the band will have an even more successful single (even though it will be hard to surpass the success of this song) in the upcoming years since they deserve it.
