Last night, Britney Spears was back to looking ultra seductive. She was the Britney who digs ensembles like those that inspire the bondage look. However this sounds, the look was appropriate given the scene (the 2011 Billboard Awards) and the occasion (singing S&M with Rihanna).
News had circulated that Britney Spears was going to show up in Las Vegas for this huge musical shindig held at the MGM Grand on May 22, 2011, but nobody was sure this would come to pass. And nobody had any ideas of what the salty singer would do, say or wear.
But she didn't disappoint.
In fact, when Britney Spears opened the 2011 Billboard Music Awards with Rihanna, the two were both wearing jeweled handcuffs, with Brit in black and Ri in white. And yes, the costumes were sexy and seductive, as was the choreography which included a pillow fight between the two girls and some pole dancing, too.
During the number, there was even a kiss between the two women--shades of Britney and Madonna at the MTV Awards years ago and apt fare for a remix of a song called S&M.
So, as Britney Spears appeared in bondage fashion to open the 2011 Billboard Awards, she was as saucy as the Britney who always surprised. And this is exactly what Spears did last night when she appeared in Las Vegas with Rihanna, a thrill for all avid fans.
