The moment she said it I knew it was a lie, because EY video was uploaded to Madonna's youtube channel and Madonna.com on the BTW release week. Obviously they were shading it from the get go, why would they send "support" a few days later.

I think Gaga just wasn't ready for the question and quickly made it up praising Madonna in the way hoping they would be quiet about it.

But that what makes it such a brilliant move from Madonna. Obviously, no one is going to believe Gaga's story if Madonna's team discounts it, and it makes Gaga look worse. Madonna may be evil, but she's no idiot.
