The album sold 1.3M and a lot of it comes from Japan . . . is kind of bad being barely her 4th studio album, if It was her 6th or 8th studio album it wouldn't be so bad, but it was only her 4th album , and the fact she came from an smash seller "The best d*mn thing" just make the things look worse.

The tour wasn't big , I didn't see it on the list of highest grossing tours of 2011.

No, it sold 1,4M+ and so what if she has the Japan, where is the problem? And what do you mean when you say it's only her 4th album? She's not like Rihanna who release an album a year. (And moreover a lot of artists flopped with the 4th record). Why are you talking about TBDT? Don't you understand that she was absent for 4 years? And if WTH was a big radio success (or if RCA would have let her decide the songs of her album and the way to promote it by choosing the singles), GL would have had a different destiny (No support with 4years off, it's fatal.)

Yes the tour was pretty big she didn't have the medias, the radios, the TV to make it bigger.

Do you know why she wasn't support by the radios? No one knows. Why do you compare with other artists? That's not the problem, that's the radios who decide, no one else, they don't play her songs and we can't know why, don't do like you know why.

A lot of artists had absents for 4 years and came back succesfuly.... I wouldn't use that as an excuse.

her lack of success or "unlucky year" is due to a mix between: Lack of support of the media and general audiences losing interest on her.


and for a star that was so big with her debut album, being at this point with her 4th album is kind of bad .... no matter if she doesn't release an album every year ..... is not like if she has released 8 albums and people is tired of her.


I hope she makes a big come back , and she becomes again that huge album seller she used to be.

Stop being bad faith please ! The artists who come back after 4years and who are successful have the radio support and the media support (and btw give me a name) (A recent example of an artist who flopped after a long break and without any support: Evanescence). And please, we aren't in 2002 anymore but in 2012. That's not her fault if she wasn't supported at all (mainly by her own label).

Goodbye Lullaby was The Best Damn Thing Part II, at least looking at the single choices that's what you get.

Her fans keep saying she should've released some of the other ballads of the album but they're so weak, they would've done even worse than Smile did. I need her to drop the hair colors and those corny ass lyrics like "****ing crazy rock and roll" and "I'm a crazy bitch". She better do it right next time cause we know that she can.
