WTF. LeToya and Kelly both could have potential hits on their hands ("Torn" and "Gotsta Go") but they are so gonna f--- up if what I've seen posted on LeToya's Fan Message Board and a DC3 Fan Forum.

There's a big debate going on on what LeToya second single after "Torn" will be. "Torn" is a slow ballad, and rumor has it that another slow song is being released. "She Don't" and "You Got What I Need" are rumored her favorites, followed by "All Eyez On me", "Good", and "Gangsta Grillz".

That makes me say WTF because "She Don't" is slow, which will kill off "Torn" and they play itself out quckly. "You Got What I Need" leaked in 2003, nuff said. "All Eyez On Me" will flop, "Gangsta Grillz" is a year old, and "Good" is the best choice".

Capitol Records will suck if "Good" or "Gangsta Grillz" isn't released. But "She Don't" is recieving airplay already,mainly on Hot 97. I think Capitol is pushing for "She Don't".

Kelly has the advantage cause her album is already pushed back but rumor has it that after "gotsta Go" is released, her label is pushing for the worst song of all time she's ever recorded: "Flashback" which could possibly be replaced with "Every Thought Is You" or "Ghetto".

whatever Kelly does, she BETTER release "Bad Habit" as a single! if not, then I'll hunt her down and beat the hell out of her! "bad habit" has *hit* written all over it

Bad Habit is a hit fo sho but Kelly ain't comin out to 2007 now. So w/e bs forum u got that from is str8 up LYIN.

Who knows about Toya...AEoM would be a great summer hit.

I'm so confused as to what LeToya should release as a 2nd single. She could release another slow track but listeners will get the impression that that's what she's all about and slow jams released back to back just isn't a good move at Urban radio. Or she could release an up-tempo but I don't think any of them can actually crossover because they're really ghetto (lol). However, I was listening to "Gangsta Grillz" today and I have to say that song is easily her best up-tempo track.

LeToya currently has a huge hit on her hands. But everyone, especially me, thought it was a bad choice for an introductory single. Obviously, it wasn't and the song's spins and audience are increasing at a very fast pace and the song will go for adds on Pop radio soon. So who knows how this can all turn out, we'll just have to wait and see...

U thought Torn was a bad first single?? She was smart as hell for securing this song and puttin it first. This song could have leaked 2 years ago but she kept it under lock and key cuz she was sure that was gon be her first single. Its a ballad fit for spring...songs like this always do good in spring. Gangsta Grillz could be good but I don't know cuz the H-Town movement ain't as strong as it was last year. Could flop.

I was a worried for her. I originally thought she needed a banger in order to do well. I later came to the conclusion that a ballad would be a better intro and wouldn't seem so trendy, therefore generating better album sales.

I agree on "Gangsta Grillz". It might probably won't work. The problem with LeToya's upbeat tracks is that they are trendy and for the moment. I still think they're all bangers though.

No-one really knows whats going to be on Kelly's album. From what I understand, Kelly's album has been pushed back (and for all we know could be pushed back some more) so there is a chance she's still recording songs or rethinking her tracklist. We'd hear about the second song choice when members of the 'We love Kelly' fanclub does.


As for Letoya, There's no guarentee that she'll release the album version of the second single.

I'm not familiar with LeToya's material other than "Torn", but if she's counting on slow, bland songs such as her first single she can only dream about becoming a succesful (sp?) artist.

If anyone wants, I could upload songs that are possibly gonna be her second single.

^ Yeah, you really should share new material like that. Unless it's just a little clip, that's ok to drum up promotion adn excitement. I dunno about what LaToya's second single should be, but Kelly's album isn't coming out anytime soon (2007) so there won't be any second single, and Gotsta Go is scrapped. There will probably be all new songs for the album that will come in early 2007.
