Ciara is a very talented young girl with huge dancing skills and a great sense of fashion.. she has a lot really.
Plus, the possibility of her becoming big in the urban community is quite big as well.. plus, compared with Avril she has the possibility too of having crossover hits with the current style of dance/electronic music - if that's what she decides to do.

I think both will manage to come back and slay! At least I hope so!

And most of the people saying Ciara is gonna flop or not do better than Avril are ignorantly basing it off of past success and albums rather than actually knowing what's CURRENTLY going on. Not to mention Avril's era is already DONE. You sound foolish.

But L.A. is here for CIARA and that's all that matters at the end of the day.

I'd say Ciara if it were 2010 but Avril has a bigger shot now. As evident by Adele's success this year, people are ready for a non urban/electronic dominated radio. If Avril can plan this just right, she can do it.
Ciara would only blend, imo. But hey, LMFAO has hits on the radio right now. Anythings possible.

Honestly, I could give a damn about an Avril.

Ms. Ciara is coming back with a label that isn't deliberately sabotaging her, and with newer refreshing A-list producers.
