I don't mind that she's performing Blue Jeans. Since she's filming another video for BJ, it means that this might be a future single and her label will be able to find out if they should push BJ as a single after the SNL performance.
Some of you need to stop confusing online hype with general public.She's still mostly unknown to US general public and casual buyers because she didn't perform on television yet nor had any charting single there.So it doesn't matter what will she perform because everything will be brand new to US viewers.
Since Video Games was nice WW hit,its great strategy to go with it as 1st US single.It has more potential than BTD.

All I know is that National Anthem needs to be summer single.
Summertime Sadness would be great late summer/early fall single.
This is what make us girls too but they need to change the chorus to make it more powerful. Anyways, I read here that she will do a video for Blue Jeans in early February...
