Mr. Duff's Most Wanted Movies
6 Source Code
Starring: Jake Gyllenhaal, Michelle Monaghan, Vera Farmiga
Directed by: JDuncan Jones
Source Code makes my list at #6, and it's one of the movies this year with a great concept. It's about a man who already died and is being serviced in a source code to catch a bomber in a train to prevent its future bombing routine. It stars Jake Gyllenhaal, and he's the right fit for the role. Although most of the scenes are repetitive (because he has to go back to the source code if he fails to identify the bomber and his schemes), the overall movie is great because *spoiler* the ending has given the character of Jake a new life inside the source code.
5 The Hangover Part II
Starring: Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, Justin Bartha
Directed by: Todd Phillips
I so much adored the first one that I'm so on-the-go to watch this sequel. It's the same-old plot where the guys have beer and celebrate the bachelor's party of Stu (Ed Helms), but things got out of control the next day. This movie is Rated 18 in my country because it showed penises and other sexual content, but IMO it's a fun addition to the film. The only thing I don't like in this film is that I predicted what will happen (Stu's brother-in-law got lost and I figured out he's stuck in the elevator).
4 Diary Of A Wimpy Kid 2: Rodrick Rules
Starring: Zachary Gordon, Devon Bostick, Robert Capron, Rachael Harris
Directed by: David Bowers
Like The Hangover's sequel, I loved the first of the Wimpy film series, so I watched this too. I actually enjoyed this over the first one. The brotherly clash between Greg and Rodrick is very fun to watch, and the story went with progression. I don't what to say about this film, I just love it so much. (I'm just too lazy to type).
Mr. Duff's Most Wanted Albums
6 Whatever
Artist: Hot Chelle Rae
This album came late last year but it didn't stop me from loving this album. I instantly feel in love (although I'm still unsure about the screechy vocals) because it's full of pop-dance tracks and catchy melodies. I *****d Tonight Tonight to death, but when I listen to the album, I skip it. Maybe I'm just so tired of it. Beside the catchy material in the album, it has the ballady gems and it has a song featuring the lovely Demi Lovato.
TOP TRACKS:
Keep You With Me
Why Don't You Love Me
Beautiful Freaks
5 Femme Fatale
Artist: Britney Spears
It's in the top 5! Britney's new album filled with infectious dance beats and instantly-getting-stuck-in-your-head music makes my top 5! Its singles proved that Britney is back, but the album kinda underperformed. Such a shame, it's one of the best Britney albums ever and I love how the production in every song is polished and well-made. Big Fat Bass, the track that's being hated by many, is my exercise song. When I jump to the treadmill, that song always makes me go further. Ugh, I hope they appreciate its amazingness. Plus, the bonus tracks (Scar, Up N Down, He About To Lose Me) should've been in the album.
TOP TRACKS:
Big Fat Bass
Till The World Ends
Hold It Against Me
4 This Loud Morning
Artist: David Cook
David Cook lands a spot in my top 5 with his new album This Loud Morning. His debut album went platinum easily, and I'm very sad that this one didn't even scratch 100K. David has provided us with heartbreak songs with this album, and I think the songs flow greatly until the closing track, Rapid Eye Movement. The opening, Circadian, is kinda weird but different. The album delivered alternative rock tracks while showcasing the mesmerizing vocals of David. I hope he'll come back strong because he deserves so much more.

6 Moves Like Jagger
Artist: Maroon 5 featuring Christina Aguilera
Album: Hands All Over
I never expected I'd see the day the vocals of Adam Levine and Christina Aguilera will flow greatly. With Moves Like Jagger, they have proven that they're voices, when blended together, makes a song exceptional. Even with the generic production, Jagger is a big pile of awesomeness because it's a very fun track and I love dancing to it. The whistles are stuck on ym head for days, and I'm trying to do it by myself. Lol. I don't like Christina's parts on the song but I still think she added something to the song. I hope to hear more collaborations from Maroon 5 in the future.
5 Mr. Know It All
Artist: Kelly Clarkson
Album: Stronger
This is Kelly's first single in her new album, Stronger. I instantly feel in love with the song because it's something different for Kelly, it has this classy soul vibe combined with pop music production. Kelly's vocals soar in this song even though there's not much high notes to reach, and the catchy Mr. Know It All hooks are very , um, catchy! XD I love how Kelly has delievered this kind of song that she seldom comes up with. This will be a great addition to her fantastic discography and I hope people will appreciate this kind of music. I think this is so much better than the overrated What Doesn't Kill You.
4 Firework
Artist: Katy Perry
Album: Teenage Dream
If I made a Best of countdown last year, this would've been my #1. A year later, I'm still not tired of this song. A lot of people say that this is Katy's worst song, but I tend to disagree. I think this is her best song. It conveys a message beneath the violins and beats and the metaphor of plastic bag isn't cute, but who cares, your fave's just jealous they can't write a song that has plastic bag lyrics. I know Katy struggles when she sings this song live, but I'm sure when she recorded this, she nailed it. I want to squeeze this one in the top 3 because it's my favorite Katy song, but it just feel short.
