I never denied that dubstep hasn't been introduced to the mainstream, but it's certainly not a phenomenally popular trend of any sort & HIAM didn't start any sort of dubstep-esque revolution in pop music. The true people who introduced dubstep to the mainstream are the underground producers who inspired the likes of Dr. Luke. I would argue Skrillex has been HUGELY pivotal to making dubstep more common
That being said, the article title is a lie. Not that I want to diss Chris, because I actually think he'll do great with a dubstep sound.
