She couldn't as she hadn't released a new album in 2010. Turn It Up Louder was only a repackage, and to get nominated an artist has to release a new album in that year.

Definitely more "cutesy" than the WDYTMF video, I see what they're doing. The only thing I don't like is how cheap the green screen looks.
