Considering that studies have shown a majority of religious leaders in the church are homosexual or have homosexual tendencies, you would think they would get over themselves already.

Lol, the Catholic church is NOT the true religion. I was raised Southern Baptist. Most Southern Baptists, along with plenty of evangelical Christian denominations, actually believe that most Catholics are going to hell because they pray to saints and revere the Virgin Mary as a holy figure when the Bible makes it clear that the only figure to be prayed to or revered is the godhead (the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit) itself.
