OKAY, SO I'VE SEEN THREADS LIKE "MY 1,000,000 POST (NOT ACTUALLY 1,000,000 BUT U GET MY POINT), ANYWAY WHY DON'T WE HAVE LIKE ONE HUGE THREAD AND PEOPLE POST THEIR MILESTONE POST ON THIS THREAD, THAT WAY WE DON'T HAVE LIKE MANY THREADS THAT HAVE THE "MY 1,000,000 POST" THAT ARE PRETTY MUCH ONLY AROUND FOR LIKE 4 DAYS THEN THEY ARE FORGOTTEN ABOUT. FOR EXAMPLE, THIS IS MY 500TH POST (REALLY) . AND FROM NOW ON OTHER PEOPLE CAN COME HERE AND POST THEIR MILESTONE POSTS.
AND IF THIS THREAD IS AS SUCCESSFUL AS I HOPE IT IS, MANY OF YOU CAN COME BACK HERE AND LOOK AT THE DATE WHERE U DID UR "???? POST"
I don't really think your post count should matter and some of them aren't accurate at this point anyway, when some of the forums were deleted and all a lot people lost a bunch of their "posts" and things like that...
Then some people ended up with more/less... when we changed over to some other version or something, I can't even really remember at this point what it was.
Actually, it really doesn't suck. If it were like every 10,000 posts or so, then it'd be a milestone. The next one I'm focusing on is my 5-year anniversary.
Take Will's case for example. He's been on ATRL for a year, that's a pretty good reason for a milestone post. I remember my 1-year anniversary a little bit, it was back in mid October 2002.
