Lindsay Lohan could go from posing as Marilyn Monroe in Playboy to playing Elizabeth Taylor for Lifetime.
The actress is in early talks to play the big-screen icon in a television movie for the female-skewing cable network, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
Lifetime is for TV actresses who can't make it on the big screen or big screen actresses who are has-beens and can't get a movie. And the quality of Lifetime movies
But I guess anything involving Lindsay being alive, much less working, isn't an ouch.

I was thinking the last sentence you said. She's alive, and able to film a movie. I'd call that a step in the right direction.
It is a good move. She won't have the pressure of the movie being a box office hit or flop.
It will no doubt get plenty of media interest because of her high profile. Plenty of A list stars started on Television movies. She needs to show of her craft again for Hollywood to take notice.
Yeah, sorta, kinda, maybe, given the right dye job and styling. It was probably a wise casting decision in the sense that it won't take much to transform her into "old Liz" when they get to that part of the script.
