Is there not an upcoming album version that differs from the single version for Born to Die? I thought there was reports of one, presumably with the original "let me **** you hard in the pouring rain" chorus line back in.
Is Off to the Races for sure the third official single? I thought it was just for buzz.
Also, I think we got the remastered VG and BJ versions on the Lana Del Rey EP.
Other than that, it looks fantastic! Welcome back!

she says in an interview that the song is "not about ****ing" so that is why the lyrics were changed. I got the impression that the word ****ing will only be for the live performances

But there's this: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Born-To-Die-.../dp/B006RY6KVQ
It carries an Explicit label.
I know what interview you're talking about, you may be right. I dunno.

I won't buy the album if the quality of Born to Die is the same as the free version.

I guess it's explicit because of "let's go get high" line... cuz I don't see anything else explicit in the lyrics, tho the high part is not explicit (for me at least).
Btw, Off To The Races was said to be the 3rd single, tho if you check her youtube channel, she removed the audio and the "official" video...
It's kinda messy. Honestly I wasn't expecting from her to give-away all her songs. I know that she might get bigger buzz, but she won't chart with those free downloads.

they bleep out any weed or high references on US radio, so an explicit tag for that would make sense
I think Off To The Races is the third single. But its a bit annoying that we have already heard the first three singles off of the album; I hope she plans on releasing several more singles from the album.

If she goes with those 3 singles, she'll be done by mid 2012. I want to believe that only Born To Die is the single she only released, tho I love Video Games more, but it never got the real promo.
National Anthem is a MUST single, for the summer.
And I hope it's more up-tempo and I hope for a video with a bit of dancing (at least)!

I have a strong feeling that National Anthem has been turned into something very up-tempo and perhaps even danceable. I would be so happy with this.
I'm curious to see what Lana's definition of "drastically different from the demo versions" means when it comes to the songs we've already heard.

It's so weird, but the chorus to National Anthem gives me a very nostalgic feeling. And I absolutely loveee ittt when I get that feeling from songs. Omggg, I just love the song so much

There are some problems in the iTunes US versions.
1. Born to Die skips at 0:41
2. BTD does it again at 3:05
3. There are scratchy noises throughout some of the louder parts of BTD
4. Off to the Races skips at 4:34

I don't think "Off to the Races" is an actual official single. It would be so stupid for her to release all of her singles on one EP for US audiences prior to the album release, and on top of that never really promote any of them other than Video Games. I trust Interscope would not let that mess happen.
I also really want an upbeat single. Something that is a pretty sure-fire hit like a fixed up version of National Anthem (or Dark Paradise and Summertime Sadness potentially) could be while still being very Lana. I wonder if she can dance. If she can, gurl will be unstoppable.

You can now pre-order Born To Die (Standard and Deluxe) on Mexican iTunes
But i don't get it The standard is at $100 mexican pesos ($7.50usd) an has 13 songs and the deluxe is at $150 pesos ($11.25usd) and has 16 songs, they have a difference of 3 songs that cost $12 pesos each, if you add the three songs to the standard it should be at $136 pesos and the Deluxe costs $150, isn't the Deluxe version giving you more songs at a less price each?
Btw i'm so not getting BTD the single and VGs EP with all these skipping problems, we probably got the same version as the US

I bet she can dance a little.
Anyway, her songs don't call for it by and large. The magic of her songs is that you can take them anywhere, emotionally. The songs, lyrics, and melodies go beyond dancing in a club.

haha.
i don't see lana being a dancer.
she should add some cabaret elements into her act when she tours. I can imagine Mermaid Motel being performed with a big feathery-fan.
