I would be totally surprised if we see a winner that isn't Adele or the Foos. The other three choices are total underdogs, with Gaga slightly less of an underdog than Bruno and Rihanna.
Yes overall it was Beyoncé's since she broke the record for most wins in a night for a female artist.

Basically, LOUD is her worst album. Rated R should've gotten nominated last year and "4" should've taken LOUD's place this year.
Korean had to get ya going. After listening back and prior to what I said before Loud is actually a good album once you listen to it and let it grow on you. It's Talk That Talk that is pure trash and is her worst album to date. Even some of the Navy would agree with me on this.

Yeah, except no other album deserved to win more than hers.
Adele's 21 and then Foo Fighters' Wasting Lights are the obvious winners, for different reasons: Adele may be something we haven't seen since Michael Jackson's glory days, at least in terms of commercial success, and got very good critical acclaim even upon release (I honestly wouldn't consider that much all the year-end list she made, since most of them are dictated by her popularity exploding) while Foo Fighters are the alternative rock band which got the highest Metacritic score and overall the most critical acclaim.
The other three albums are all underdogs, especially when we talk about Loud and Doo-Woops And Holligans: both got big commercial success and decent reviews but struggled to achieve significant critical acclaim. Lady Gaga's Born This Way might be the surprise winner: after all, it's her third consecutive Album Of The Year nomination, something which hadn't happened in a very long time (Barbra Streisand and Beatles maybe?) and got significantly good critical acclaim (along with heavy commercial success and a good amount of impact), especially when we think it is a mainstream Pop release; songs like "The Edge Of Glory", "You And I" and "Bloody Mary" might make an impression on the Grammy voters.
I wouldn't mind Foo Fighters winning, I would be more than happy with Adele, but I would litterally crying of joy if Gaga happened to unexpectedly win that award.
Grammy history shows that any of the Grammy noms can win. Last yeat Eminem was a definite winner. No. He lost. There are no definite winners. 12,000 voters. some don't vote. some let there children or friends vote because they do not keep up with current music.
Its America's nature to always root for the underdog. In some ways I think Adele is the underdog, as it's her first BIG year, and the public doesn't want someone like Gaga or Rihanna to win.
But in other ways it's kind of reversed, because Adele is so expected to win, making Gaga or Rihanna underdogs as well.
