I only caught parts of the interview on radio today, so forgive me if the details aren't exact. Axl Rose said the new album will debut no later than October of this year. He hinted at working with Izzy Stradlin. GN'R does not have lead guitarist at this point, so speculation that Slash will return now that Velvet Revolver looks finished as a band. I don't know if this means overdubbing new solos onto the existing tracks or if Axl is just telling stories like he's known to do. As far as I know the band still has the Nine Inch Nails bass player, the Primus drummer, and Dizzy Reed as a previous member of Guns N' Roses.
