I love both. I enjoy both of their performances.
They are different artists.

Gaga's performances has meanings, its theater
While Bey's enjoyable even without props, just a bunch of dancing girls.

Katy Perry is not that of a bad performer. Sure, she's not a very good vocalist or dancer but she does put out an entertaining performance. Rihanna would've made a better "joke" option.

If Gaga could give us what she gave us at the 2009 VMA's every time she performed, my vote would go to her.

Gaga, I find it more interesting. It's more theatrical and usually has some sort of over-arching theme whilst Beyonce's performances are more mellow yet more beautiful.
