Happy 2012, y'all. I see we've got a thread already proclaiming our New Year's Resolutions for our personal lives - but I thought it might be neat to set some resolutions that relate specifically to our posting on ATRL.
In 2012 are you going to stan harder for your Queen? Lighten up on the dragging? Do you resolve to make less polls? Find better gifs? Befriend a certain poster? Maybe you resolve to stay out of NHB or perhaps y'all need to force yourselves to post less explicit content for fear of a ban...

Personally, I'm making the decision to continue stanning for Bey - but not to let it materialize in the dragging of other artists. As a newer member to ATRL, I will openly admit that I've felt like shading other artists is "the thing to do", and I kind of went along with it - to the point where I was going into Rihanna threads just to talk ****. Not proud of it, and after stepping back I realize how counter productive this is. I don't have to be Rihanna's biggest fan, but I certainly don't need to openly talk **** about her. Stan wars get tacky so fast, and I would rather just focus my energy on posting positives about my fave rather than dragging someone else's fave down. My 2012 resolution is to live and let live - or better yet, stan and let stan.
