Jeannie Ortega is new artist out of Brooklyn,NY. She's puerto rican and her debut album "No Place Like Brooklyn" will hit stores June 27th. She's signed to Hollywood Records (Hilary Duff, Aly & AJ, Jesse Mc Cartney). Her first single Crowded which features Papoose is already getting heavy airplay on stations like New York's z100. I read that the video for Crowded should be released to BET and MTV sometime in May. I really like her music and I hope TRL gives it a chance.

Now concerning "Crowded"....I hate to say it, but it's a good track. One of the best examples of the fusion known as R&B\Pop in a long time.

there are so many things wrong with her that I don't even know where to begin. The song sucks, the video sucks, her image sucks, she just flat out sucks!

i actually met her a few weeks ago at a performance and she was so friendly

her performance was pretty good too but she ran out of breath quickly. anyways i havent heard the song on z100 yet but then again ive been in la all week so yeah but she did say that her video was supposed to be on BET that week.

This Crowded song is awesome. Love the Asian Indian influence in the song. Hope she does well.

I really like her music,I got an advance copy of her CD,and it's pretty damn good.But if you go to her website-jeannieortega.com-the release date for her album has again been pushed back.The new release date is AUGUST 1ST 2006

I like "Crowded"... but it seems very generic.

"So Done" is a lot better.

I have an advanced copy of her album as well and I think its fantastic. "Crowded" will be very big this summer.
