I'd say Gaga. Everyone feels like an outsider at some point so can relate too her and she's obviously more successful. I love Britney but the public don't even see her other than music videos and many people just think she's a ****.

GaGa. Britney is an android now. None of her music shows any emotional connection. Regardless of anything else, people always have an opinion of GaGa, meaning she's connecting with people despite their opinions of her.

The general public don't understand Gaga, but I think they realise how kind-hearted she is in the things she does and messages she spreads.

Britney is less of a controversial and shock artist, thus making her easier to understand, already. The public can probably relate to Britney more than Gaga.
