I am a bit surprise that noone created a thread for this movie.
I know most of us are not fan of TomCat. However, everywhere I go, like cosnstantly talk about this movie. And recently I check on Yahoo news, it said "The summer 2006 box office kicks off Friday with a bombardment of Cruise's Mission: Impossible III on 4,054 screens, the fourth-largest opening ever. "
I don't plan to see this movie, but I got a feeling somehow I end up seeing it anyway. Well, Probably cause I like Keri Russel.

just saw it, and it was ----in amazing.
don't listen to the haters(I hate using that term) who are just disliking it cause Cruise is in it.
Abrams' directing a movie for his first time did very well, Simon Pegg was hilarious every time he was on screen, the action scenes were jaw droppingly good, and Philip Seymour Hoffman played one of the cruelest villians I have ever seen, and shows why he has that Best Actor Oscar.
for action movies this Summer, I don't really see anything else beating it.

Just came back from the movie, it was just AWESOME! The movie has clever plot & sceneries, the action was just out of your mind. Philip Seymour Hoffman's part at the end was just amazingly unexpected. Well done Cruise, well done. "Mission Impossible 3" get a 10 out of 10 from me -- a must see flick for this summer for sure, no doubt about it.

I dunno, I hated no:2; the chauvenism was rampant, the plot was lame and every 2 seconds they abused the 'taking off the flesh mask' trademark and turned it into a gimmick.
I'll probably just see it when it comes on tv.

It was actually pretty good. i've never seen any of the MI movies and the only reason i went to go see it was because i didn't want to be home and my sister was going. I was surprised by actually enjoying watching the movie.

Awesome awesome movie. Definitely the best of the 3.
I was shocked at how they used Keri Russell.

It did better than what the first Mission Impossible did...
if it holds well and all.... it can still be a hit

It was also released in way more theaters and had a bigger promo budget and debuted weaker then the second one. And you're not taking into consideration inflation. The first one opened with 45 million that would equal 60 million by today standards. Stop trying to defend it when you clearly don't know what your talking about.
