US radio rejects Rihanna's new single; new Brandy interview
Quote:
Rolled out (perhaps prematurely) during the hurricane that was (and still is) ‘We Found Love’, the Dr Luke produced cut saw its US airplay soar…initially.
However, following the debut of its lackluster video (which saw the model grab her vage more times than we care to count), its progress has slowed drastically.
Once commanding a radio audience of over 1.0 million a day, the song is now struggling to hit the 40 million total audience mark (limping as at writing to 38 million overall). A far cry from the 150 million total tally its predecessor registered.
Put simply, it’s time to stick a fork in this McHit and keep it moving.
Of course, being the fair and unbias site we are, it’s important to stress that many a newcomer would rejoice at such numbers. Yet, for an artist who’s perched on a pedestal as high as Ms. Fenty, it’s a (relative) flop. Something its Hot 100 peak (#14) and current iTunes standing (#25) further highlights.
Still, it’s by no means all doom and gloom. For, not only is it somewhat of a “good” problem for one of your singles to be dumping all over the other, we hear the album’s title track ‘Talk That Talk’ may be the next offering.
Perhaps everything in unison will give the album the sales push it so clearly needs.

TGJ is the worst blog/music site going at the moment, they "hate" Rihanna yet all they do is talk about her more than any other artists, not to mention they always review her albums but im not surprised as Rihanna's topics draw the most viewers if it wasnt for them giving that Rihanna promo TGJ would have died ages ago, poor Samantha.
It's pretty sad how her label payed so much for it to first get spins with that contest because it is making the songs performance look even worse than it already is.
It doesn't matter though because she can easily release TTT to get spins on Urban due to Jay.
