There was also a collection for the Hudsons, with Keith saying: "We live by the Gospel, not off anyone else, even though you may say 'You are the parents of Katy Perry, you must be rich'. No, she is, I am not, hallelujah."

Well, in my opinion, even with a divorce her life is wonderful without the parent's weighing her down.

I hate when people attack her old gospel-music days. I wouldn't be surprised if her parents made her do a gospel-album out of force.

My friend has actually met Katy Perry's parents. They're exploiting her fame as a way to be able to tour the nation and preach the Gospel.

When someone asked them what they thought of "I Kissed a Girl" her dad said "Well we kissed God and we liked it more!"

Nah, they agree to disagree.
But they are using Katy's name to exploit their own ministry, along with a book her mom is writing.
But personally I am a Christian and Katy is too, so I'm glad that more young people are getting saved.
I have a friend who's met them too, they came to my city last August and now they're coming next month and I have to go.

Already met Katy, now have to meet her parents.

Oh, and like it's said above, Katy's dad is extremely proud of her. I watched a livestream of their sermon at a church a few weeks back and he was bragging about CDT and how huge it was and how her daughter's such a hard worker.
