Awesome video! Though, of course it makes no sense at all but really hot in it so that's all that counts!! I kinda like it better than the Promiscuous video.

"Promiscuous" is the first single for the USA, while "Maneater" is the first single for the rest of the world.... hopefully she'll do a switch for 2nd singles so we can get Maneater in the states
from what i understand, her dog runs off and she goes looking for him, and she stumbles upon this underground club, and they all start dancing, and it sort of seems as if she's controlling the people, like in the beginning if you listen to the lyrics "Come on everybody jump around" and then "I wanna see you all on your knees"....at those two parts, they do exactly what she does, and in other parts of the video when she's twirling in circles, it looks almost as if they're bowing down at her.... I guess that's how it fits into the whole "Maneater, make you work hard, make you want all of her love..." etc. concept with the lyrics... notice how no one was doing anything before she entered the club, and once she starts dancing, they follow a long... showing that she might in a way control them...hence, a maneater... make sense? lol... i hope that may clear up some confusion....
